“Panini, the Story”, the novel roadshow retracing 50 years of football history through the iconic albums, will be visiting three of AG Real Estate's shopping centres: Gent-Zuid, City2 and Galeries St Lambert, over the next two months.
Since 17 May, “Panini, the Story”, the exhibition conceived by Panini to mark its 50th anniversary and the 2020 European Cup, can be seen at the Gent-Zuid shopping centre, at the south side of Ghent. The collections, intended mainly for football fans and a broad family audience, are exhibited across nearly 50m² of space and showcase the key historic moments of this national sport. They will be on show there until 5 June.
The next stop will be City2, from 7 to 26 June, spotlighting the stars of the beautiful game through exclusive comic strips and anecdotes.
The last fixture will take place in Liège at the Galeries St Lambert, for three weeks from 28 June until Saturday 17 July inclusive.
Three venues, three opportunities to immerse yourself in and marvel at 50 years of history, such as the 1967 Fiat 500, fully customised and covered with Panini stickers for the occasion. A collector's item!
An exhibition with activities
Activities are also planned, such as exchange fairs, competitions, complimentary albums, free black, yellow and red sweets, and many surprises… thanks to the many partners. Something for everyone.
Thierry de Latre du Bosqueau, Managing Director of Panini Belgium: “The chance to exhibit our historic collection, on the occasion of the European Football Cup, in these three very popular shopping centres, is a dream opportunity to reach a broad audience nationwide and to relive 50 years of great sporting moments. This is a major first for Panini, and the initiative is supported by our parent company in Italy. We will also be presenting exclusive alternative universes in our brand-new albums, in addition to the long series we already offer."
Valérie Couchant, Event & Partnership Manager Retail, adds: “Working in partnership with Panini and hosting this unique exhibition in three AG Real Estate shopping centres is an honour and an incredible opportunity, up to the minute with current events, which is bound to fascinate all our visitors.”
