AG Real Estate and the non-profit association Maison d'Enfants Reine Marie-Henriette are delighted to announce their partnership for the construction of a new building that will house 48 children aged 2.5 to 14.
The expected duration of the works is 18 months, with the first brick being laid by the end of June 2025.
The project involves private partners, including AG Real Estate, and public partners, including the King Baudouin Foundation. The building permit obtained by the Maison d’Enfants Marie-Henriette in 2019 was implemented in mid-December and the works began in earnest earlier this January.
This partnership is part of a larger renovation of the site occupied by the non-profit association Maison d’Enfants Reine Marie-Henriette, initiated in 2018, the first phase of which was completed in 2023. The partnership concerns the second of the 4 phases of this project, aimed at rebuilding the children’s living quarters at l’Estacade, one of the 6 services of the non-profit which, on a daily basis, cares for 48 children aged 2.5 to 14 from families experiencing serious difficulties. This partnership is the result of an invitation to tender for a public service contract won by AG Real Estate, concerning the financing and construction of the project. In order to actively participate in a process that it firmly believes in, AG Real Estate is providing the non-profit with the resources needed to supervise the project and is providing long-term financing.

This project will have a considerable social impact, offering a safe and welcoming environment for 48 children aged 2.5 to 14.
